Rare French Wooden Salon of Honey Tone with Green Leather Upholstery

Tea Time in Your French Salon !

This marvelous set presents many pieces of wooden furniture varnished in honey tones. It is enhanced with black lines and gilt paper to simulate inlays, green faux leather on seats.

Each piece has its own characteristics :

The six seats have unusual ballon back chair design and green faux leather on seats with green fringes on border. The cupboard with scalloped front doors has its original knobs and original green silk with velvet border. The splendid buffet hutch with a scalloped front and two scalloped shelves has two opening doors with original knobs. You have also a rare console, a jardiniere with flowers, and finally but not least a beautiful chimney with green faux leather on top and mantel with its original mirror and ormolu clock.

Chimney with mirror 9 1/2"(24 cm) high - 5 1/2"(14 cm) wide, Cupboard 8 7/8"(22.7 cm) high, Chair 4 1/8"(10.5 cm) high, Table 3 "(7.7 cm) high - 5 7/8"(14.9 cm) long.

All original. Excellent condition for the furniture, minimal lake on table foot (see picture).

France - between 1875 and 1880. Attributed to Adelaïde Privé, successor of Louis Badeuille.

The eglomised blown glass gilt accessories are included. You will find two ducks on chimney and a tea service. They are in good condition, minimal chip at teapot lid.
