These two perfume bottles are marked with the label from the Famous Viville Perfume Shop, Avenue de l'Opera, in Paris. René-Albert Viville created his business in 1892. In 1924, Viville merged with Yardley, the British cosmetics brand. These perfume miniature flasks are from this period.

Opera Glasses with Stanhope in mother of pearl and brass with views of the French city of Pary-le-Monial, a major place of Christian pilgrimage . In the 17th Century, Christ appeared to Mary Alacoque, a sister of the local monastery. He entrusted to her, between 1673 and 1675, three great messages for the Church and for the world.
This Opera monicle is 3/4"(2 cm) long. Very good condition.

Lord Charles Stanhopes developed in the 18th century a tiny magnifying lens; its invention is that the object to be magnified must be touching the rear surface of the lens. In the first ocular, we can see the Basilica Notre-Dame of Fourvière as well as the statue of king LOUIS XIV, which is always on the place Bellecour in Lyon. In the second ocular, we distinguish diverse small views.
These Opera glasses are 1"(2,5 cm) long and in excellent condition.

Very small size for these pink-blue opera glasses with gilt metal structure. Inside you see minuscule views of Niagara falls and Niagara suspending bridge. This suspension bridge stood from 1855 to 1897 across the Niagara River.
