This house has its facades covered with lithographed paper imitating red and yellow bricks. The back face of the house is also covered with red lithographed paper, what was the case only for the most ancient of these houses. The woodwork is painted in creme color, heightened of turquoise blue. A clock in the same turquoise tone decorates the front pediment. Glass windows on front and on both sides, windows are decorated with curtains. This dollhouse has two rooms with their original wall paper.
This two rooms dollhouse is furnished with typical French furniture, in white painted wood with light pink upholstery and gilted paper trim. The piano is 4 "(10.3 cm) wide and 3 7/8"(9.8 cm) high. The seats are 3 1/8"(8 cm) high. The fireplace, with its ormolu clock, is 5 7/8"(15 cm) high and 4 3/4"(12 cm) wide.
The dollhouse is 20 1/8"(51 cm) high including chimney, base is 16 3/8"(41.5 cm) wide and 10 "(25.5 cm) deep. This house is perfect for your 4 3/8"(11 cm) to 5 1/8"(13 cm) all-bisque dolls. The mignonettes presented on the photos are 4 3/8"(11 cm) and 5 1/8"(13 cm) tall are not included in this sale.
Very good condition. Floor paper is not original. Curtains are antique but probably replacements.
