Charming Antique Blue-roof Dollhouse - by Theodor Heymann
This is a charming and very interesting blue roof dollhouse with its wooden framed and lithographed paper over wood. Rich design for lithographed paper to simulate brick form. The door and the windows have a yellow and red decoration. Look also at its unusual stair and lovely balcony. The roof and the back are blue painted.
The interior has all original papers and original lace curtains
The furniture is included as well as the tiny all-bisque doll who has decided to stay in her house.
Total high 17 3/8"(44 cm) including chimney. Base is 10 5/8"(27 cm) wide and 7 1/4"(18.5 cm) deep.
Very good condition for this antique dollhouse. One chimney is missing. Note a small lack at balcony railing.
Theodor Heymann manufactured dollhouses very similar to some of Moritz Gottschalk.
Germany - This model was manufactured circa 1920.
