Antique Miniature Dolls / Extraordinary Early Porcelain Fortune Telling Doll as Milliners Model Doll - Ref P560
This doll was known as Poupée de Bonne Aventure. She has china shoulder head on leather body, wooden lower elongated arms and legs with attached blue papers, and yellow painted flat shoes as Milliners Model Doll. Very nice black molded hair with braided bun and wings on the sides, painted lovely face with blushing cheeks, tiny mouth and fine blue painted eyes with upper red lines.
The fortune teller doll is dressed with her all original costume. A very decorative vetvet blouse with lace sleeves. She has her precious stick on her right hand and some cards on the left hand. A long chatelaine with beads starting from her neck and is as long as her skirt. Rare velvet slippers with flowers and troussers. Her skirt is formed of more than one hundred colored folded papers with French hand-written ink script messages or with fortune prophecies.
