Antique All bisque French Mignonnette with Cobalt Blue Eyes

This all-bisque Demoiselle is attributed to François GAULTIER, the famous Parisian porcelain manufacturer which supplied since 1872 Jumeau, Jullien, Sustrac... She is peg-jointed with solid-domed swivel head. She has elongated arms and legs, delicate hands, jointed fingers with inside thumbs, painted white socks and light blue boots.

This mignonette has a delicious smile which gives her a very expressive face. The cobalt blue glass inset eyes are heightened by black lashes and straight single stroke brows, closed month, accented nostrils, blond mohair wig with two long braids. This doll is very elegantly dressed with its original dress and undergarments.
